One important factor drawing new businesses and residents to Boone County is its central location, just 15 minutes north of downtown Indianapolis and about 25 minutes southeast of Lafayette. The county is located in a corridor primed for growth. This area, known as the Crossroads of America, is ideal for businesses. Interstate connections are abundant, including easy access to I-65, I-70, I-74, I-69 and I-465.
The area is served by the Indianapolis International Airport, which has major hubs for Federal Express and several airlines. Boone County also hosts the Boone County Airport and the Indianapolis Executive Airport in Zionsville, with 40,000 departures and arrivals annually for businesses in the surrounding areas.
