Transportation
This area is known as the Crossroads of America, ideal for businesses. Three quarters of U.S. businesses are within one day’s truck drive. Interstate connections are abundant, including easy access to I-65, I-70, I-69 and I-465. Boone County is located between Indianapolis and Lafayette along Interstate 65. Lebanon is 35 miles southeast of Lafayette and 25 miles northwest of Indianapolis. Boone County is accessible from I-65; there are three exits for Lebanon and one for Zionsville. On the east side of the county is US 421, or Michigan Road, the oldest commissioned state road in Indiana.
